Mechanical
The MG was built with a 1.3 L inline 4-cylinder engine delivering around 60 horsepower. But with the car's light weight, that was considered enough that it truly offers a lot of sporty handling and performance.
It has the red painted block and head, grey valve cover, twin carb setup with open element air cleaners, and looks very correct.
The engine in ours is peppy, is mated to a 4-speed manual, and sits in a very clean original, and painted engine compartment. We believe this to be the original engine and transmission.
Interior
The factory correct and detailed interior consists of a very nice tan vinyl interior with split bench seat, tan side door panels, tan factory steering wheel, wood dash, factory gauges, and a convertible top with a tan boot.
It also has the windshield wiper, chrome grab bar, heater, and all the factory switches and controls on the dash.
Exterior
The exterior om our MG finished in a beautiful shade of yellow with a matching grille, accented by painted steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and a rear mounted spare, great chrome all around on the bumpers and windshield, body with flowing sculptured fenders and side running boards, and Tripod Headlights With Clear Lens on its chrome radiator shroud.
