The flagship of DeSoto's range, the Adventurer provided the most powerful motor and the majority of the company's available luxuries as standard. Produced in limited quantities, the Adventurer was a statement with its distinctive gold exterior accents. Depending on the source, as few as 602 were produced for the 1959 model year, making the Adventurer one of the rarer full-size choices from the era.
The 1959 DeSoto Adventurer Sportsman Hardtop featured here is finished in its factory-correct shade of Black with Gold accents over a matching White, Black, and Gold interior. This particular DeSoto has been previously restored and today displays only 10,713 believed-to-be actual miles. Previously part of a private collection, this incredible Adventurer is one of only 602 produced, presents exceptionally well, and will make a welcome addition to any premier collection.
