Vehicle Description

Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1966 Ford Roadster Street Beast for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. There's an old joke that goes, Q: How do you know if a Cobra is real or a replica? A: It's a replica. One of the most beloved 1960s racing machines is also one of the most copied, and there's nothing wrong with that. A well-set-up Cobra replica is just the thing for blowing out the fall cobwebs with some V-8 thunder. This 1966 Shelby Cobra is a prime example of what a performance 'Replicar' should be. Inside the cockpit, you'll find a range of features including red and black Cobra seats with Sparco 4-point harness and a Hurst competition shifter. The black vinyl door panels are in great shape as well. A full compliment of white-faced gauges that show volts, oil, temperature, fuel, tach and speedometer that shows 1950 on the miles are perfectly positioned in the dash. Tilton overhung pedals, Jensen AM/FM/CD player, Ididit steering column with tilt, and a three-spoke steering wheel. There are three switches that toggle your lights and high beams. Boasting a striking color combination of red with iconic white racing stripes that complements the sleep lines of this awesome roadster. There are a few paint imperfections on the passenger side by the door. You've also got the side pipe headers that complete the look. The Cobra rolls on Cooper Cobra Radial T/A's sporting P195/60R15's on the front and P255/60R15's on the rear. Under the hood you'll find a GM 5.7L (10243880) 350 engine that is mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission (3851325) that delivers an exhilarating driving experience that is sure to trill any enthusiast. Additional upgrades include a Holley Street Avenger double pumper, Edelbrock performance RPM 6073 heads, Griffin radiator, electric fans, and a front rack (steering). With the sale, you will receive a book of receipts showing the upgrades. From the distinctive side exhaust and hood scoop to the Cobra badging and racing harnesses, every detail has been carefully considered to pay homage to the iconic original. If you are looking for a Cobra 'replicar' that you can drive and enjoy, this is your car, call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.
