Vehicle Description If your not viewing this vehicle on our website. We went a litte overboard on photos.....Please view the 245 plus photos & great description on our website at cherokeeautogroup.com Type in search CHEVROLET G20 in search tab! Just in is this ultra nice true original survivor! Check out this 1-Owner show quality time capsule with only 33k showing on the 5 digit clock & we have extensive documentation to back it as a original mile Van! This is a loaded G20 3/4 ton rust free OE paint Starcraft Low Top Conversion Van! This beauty it truly a benchmark vehicle. Most car folks know the phrase BENCHMARK & what it means. If you don't know.....it means a vehicle to which others are graded or restored by and this is one of those original un-restored all there untouched units! It looks like a 3 or 4 year old van not a 44 years old! This van has lots of features and was just purchased out of a estate with over 60 plus specialty & low mile collector vehicles. Ray's collection had among many ultra low mile preserved GM vehicles a 5 mile Corvette, 46 mile Chevette, 9 mile Impala, 6 mile Monte Carlo SS and many more! Needless to say this van was in great ownership care & company! It has had years and years of love and has been garaged kept, regularly limbered up & looked after since new! Lots of history & details. It was dealer transfered from Kirk Chevrolet Pontiac in Goshen Indiana on 9-15-1981 to Bob Grimm Chevrolet in Morton Illinois and sold to Owner of Johnson Hydraulic Manufacturing Company Mr Ray Fauber on 09-19-1981 with 288 miles. There are so many features and buttons on this beauty lets touch on a few. It has super nice full soft blue premium cloth seats thru-out & Starcraft Conversion features like cold a/c, hot heat, full power, tilt-cruise, map lighting, Levolor metal blinds, rear cup holders & courtesy lights, nice curtins, nice real wood, rear Starcraft cooler, all jacks tools & original spare are in place, rear removable cabnet, pillows, guage pkg, clock, front cup holders, smooth strong quite 5.0L 305 4-bbl v8 with factory dual exhaust tips, tight crisp automatic, factory steering wheel with the factory grain still in place, class III receiver hitch tow pkg, conversion pkg period correct AM-FM-Cass, original tires were replaced approx 125 miles ago with nice set of 225-75-r-15's Firestone RWL radials on factory Rallye wheels with correct trim rings & caps, original spare is in place & looks to have never been down & rear carrier and stainless locking trim are in place, rear ladder, nice clean real wood thru-out, nice original decals & moldings, both sets of keys, manual rear folding rear bed, rear cargo trey and lots more! Fantastic documentation from new including all books and manuals, Starcraft conversion manuals, New vehicle dealer bill of sale, odometer statement, new vehicle delivery checklist, original key codes, It looks like just about every time fuel was put in it was documented with reciept inc date & mileage logged & signatures. It shows that just about all it's miles were put on in the first 11 years of it's life & then retired to Mr Faubers collection where it was regularly started and limbered up & he even kept a record of that! We believe mileage is correct & 33k and has not turned past 99,999k on its 5 diget odometer based on condtion, CARAFAX & documentation since new. Mr Fauber clearley was a very detailed oriented person SEE THE MANY PHOTOS OF RECORDS As you can see we have very very detailed records, service & fuel reciepts from new all the way to right at whats showing on odometer now & found no higher odometer readings or anything out of sequence. However the estate executor was dealing with 60 plus vehicles & wrote in 133k on back of title even though its only a 5 digit odometer. So we are going with that.....in the interest of doing things correct & transparency the Van will be sold miles Exempt in excess of mech limits.
