Bought by its current owner over a decade ago. Selling because he doesn't drive much anymore.
Paint & body in decent driver quality condition. Clear coat does show some age on trunk / hood area. Body does show some minor dents, scratches upon close inspection. Very nice body gaps, opening / closing of doors, trunk and hood. Weather seals do show age / cracking. Trim in decent shape, but some plastics missing. Glass in great shape, along with mirrors. Convertible boot tonneau cover in great shape and attaches easily. Could use new convertible top- repaired tears and plastic rear window no longer attaches / zips into place. Super solid floors, trunk, firewall and door corners!
Interior is as nice as one would expect with only 34k miles !! No signs of abuse, neglect or ever being smoked in. Ver nice carpet, door panels, dash and interior trim. * Odometer and Speedometer recently stopped working * Radio works, HVAC controls work ( AC compressor kicks on- needs a re-charge. Owner added power front windows and they work great ! Rear windows roll up and down without any binding. No Cracks on the dash pad !
1.7L 105ci inline 4cly starts right up ( does smoke a little if sits a little too long ), idles high until warmed up. Automatic transmission engages easily and shifts butter smooth !!
Car is a blast to drive ( all 77hp of it..lol ) !! Incredible solid - no creaks or strange noises from the engine or body. Tracks straight, good, newer brakes along with newer tires.
As 80s cars are becoming more and more collectible, this is an affordable entry for your collection or to start one !! Very neat & rare ride !! |
