Vehicle Description
A nice One-Owner example, this Marin County local 986 is overall very well kept and preserved with only 80k miles. It remains wholly stock with the exception of a Bluetooth compatible Sony touch-screen Navigation Stereo Unit. The car still wears most of it's original Polar Silver finish and aside from some blemishes consistent with it's originality, age and mileage, presents well overall. Notable blemishes can be found at the bottom of the gallery. It's a well optioned Boxster (detailed specs can be found below) with some notable high cost options such as full leather interior with leather wrapped dash, door sills, roll hoops and door panels, Sport Package, Body Color Painted Roll Protection, and Porsche Stability Management. The leather interior also presents well showing no sign of extended sun or weather exposure. The leather is supple and all colors remain consistent throughout the interior. The console, dash and switch gear is free of deterioration, sticky buttons, cracking, etc. Some minor plastic delamination can be seen on the door pocket flaps. Operationally, the car is as it should be. The engine exhibits no smoke at start-up (hot or cold), no abnormal sounds, and pulls and accelerates as it left the factory. A look at the DME over-rev report shows no ignitions outside of Range 1. The gearbox shifts smoothly and deliberately, and the clutch engages smoothly as well. The automatic HVAC system is fully operational, and the A/C blows cold. The OEM 17\" Boxster Design wheels are free of curb rash, pitting and sand blasting, and wear Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season Tires with 2021 date-stamps and approximately 1500 miles of use. Overall, this is a very well preserved, dry temperate climate Boxster without any deferred maintenance items. The following services were performed in preparation for sale: Oil service, Brake fluid flush, Emissions Test (pass), Accelerator Pedal Assembly replacement, Water Pump Replacement, Drive Belt Service, Oil Level Sensor Replacement, Intake Manifold Gasket Replacement, Thermostat Replacement, and Wiper Blade Replacement.
